Greeting to dearly beloved Sifu Barry & Anne Pang.
Upon leaving Monash, Sifu Barry and Anne and ultimately, Australia, it'd been 12 years since then.
Hows going Doug "FeiZai" Goulding, Norman "Savage" Chia, and Eddy "The-Meek" Fong in Melbourne U, these are so far whom I remembered. (Eddy hadn't changed 2much, for I recognised him almost instantly...)
When people in Taiwan talked a lot about the autobiography of WingChun grand promoter Master Yip Man, I can tell them so much about WingChun, for Sifu Barry had walked us over this well-known figure for countless times during training, which I'm sure the later coming members heard an awlful lot about him similarly. I was benefitted by my solid training during the last 3 years of my time in Monash (1996-1998). Though hadn't been training for long time, I was still well and living.
Another figure Sifu Barry always mentioned about was his Sifu in Canton, who had always asked him in the phone, at start, "A-Shu, YoMo LinGong ah?" (Barry, been practicing KungFu?) That was always a highlight of my college time.
Wonder if Sifu or anyone on Facebook, please add me Gilbert Yeh with Chinese name afterward, doubt anyone would know though...
A pop quiz for those who's been training for some time with Sifu now, What is the "actual" name of Sifu Barry Pang, his Chinese name? Not Cantonese like Yip Man, mandarined Yeh Wen.
